Multi disciplinary. We recently introduced a new specialized medical education collaborative program with community-based pharmacists. This collaborative effort formed the basis for winning the national Commitment To Care Award. This is an annual peer assessed award presented to the best community pharmacist / family physician collaborative project designed to educate and empower the patient. The lead pharmacist on this project was Iris Krawchenko, past president of the Ontario College of Pharmacists.
